So Halloween is here again, and once again, it makes life a little difficult having facial hair. Now other than the usual lame Jesus, Osama Bin Laden, ZZ Top or possibly Evil Spock (totally not lame). So I did some digging into what is out there for bearded men looking for Halloween ideas for the modern nerd – I figured cartoon characters, video game folk, etc etc. Almost nothing… other than some guy with a blog complaining that he didn’t have any ideas. Anyway, I put together this list as a start… feel free to add to it if you find this site… which you won’t.

- Abraham Lincoln – Classic, especially if you’re an extreamly ugly man.

- Aquaman – Sure it’s really gay, even for a DC character, but blonde beards are even tougher to find.

- Aragorn – Liked the movies? Gay? This is the costume for you?

- Bluto – Perfect for if you’re big and and bearded.

- Che Guevara – hip, cool and it’ll drive your Republican friends nuts. Perfect!

- Chef – Big? Black? Balls!

- Chuck Norris – Insert whatever joke you want here.

- Commander Riker – Number 2 makes for a plausible halloween beard combination

- Daisuke Jigen – Lupin III sharp shooting sidekick.

- Fidel Castro – get it now while he is still slightly relevant.

- Frylock – well it would be a challange, but I figure some red face paint and some interesting head peice…

- Gandalf – Costume, Beard – More stupid LOTR garbage.

- Gordon Freeman – Half Life’s bad ass – would be an AWESOME costume!

- Hagrid – Good if you’re fat, bearded and a Harry Potter fan… so that’s like almost all of them…

- Hellboy – Looking for a Halloween costume where you can show your muscles and your beard?

- King Leonidas – See Hellboy, minus the red paint.

- LeChuck – Perfect costume for the 31st: Scary ghost pirate! And Monkey Island is the best game ever… period.

- Obi Wan Kenobi – One of my favorite halloween costumes… got a lot of wear out of this one.

- R.J. MacReady – the most awesomest alien killing bearded badass. Not a particularly creative as a costume… but awesome!

- Shang Tsung – Got a goatee? Like changing shape? Perfect bead halloween costume for you then!
